HCE were awarded the contract to supply air cooling and extraction systems to the production areas. The plant consists of large air handling units complete with cooling towers, tanks, pumping, piping and reticulation systems. As an energy saving initiative waste heat from the fryer is used to generate the chilled water for air cooling. The fully automated plant diverts vapour from the fryer to an absorption chiller to produce chilled water, thereby reducing the overall site energy requirements.
